Fr. Bill Mok (his digital business card)
Fr. Bill was born in Guangzhou China. He moved to Canada when he was seventeen. After completing high school at Vancouver, he went to study electrical engineering at McMaster University. He became a Christian during his first year at McMaster. He worked as a software engineer for seven years in various high-tech firms in both Canada and USA after his undergraduate study. In 2005, he went to Tyndale Seminary for full time study on Master of Divinity in Pastoral and Chinese Ministry. After pastoring community churches for two years after his graduation from Tyndale, he went to serve as lay pastor at St Christopher’s Anglican Church Toronto in 2010, then senior lay pastor at St Elizabeth’s Anglican Church Mississauga in 2013. Fr. Bill was ordained a deacon in June 2015. He was ordained a priest in Nov 2015; at the same time, he was appointed Incumbent of the parish. He concluded his ministry at St Elizabeth’s in December 2019 and begin his ministry at St Chad Vancouver in Feb 2020. Fr. Bill Mok was appointed Missioner for Chinese Language Ministries for the Diocese of New Westminster on October 1, 2022. He was also appointed Honorary Assistant at St Alban’s Richmond. The passion of Fr. Bill is to make disciples for Christ. Fr. Bill and his wife, Jenny, have two children.

Fr. Bill provides the following pastoral services:

2) baptism & confirmation,
3) wedding & funeral,
4) hospital visit,
5) pastoral counselling (for example family and marriage, depression/anxiety counselling),
6) spiritual formation,
7) life coaching.
In addition, Fr. Bill is experienced in leading silence retreats and workshops on:
1) mental health,
2) spirituality,
3) mindfulness,
4) self-care.
